The footballer had reportedly traveled to Spain from Mexico following the death of the mother of his Tenerife-born wife.<\/p>\n<p>It was claimed that Alves had arranged his police interview through lawyers, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11657549\/Brazil-international-Dani-Alves-arrested-quizzed-Spanish-cops.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daily Mail<\/a>, and that he\u00a0was detained and fingerprinted as part of routine procedure.
