The attacks targeted facilities in Kiev and a part of Ukraine-controlled Zaporozhye Region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said<\/strong><\/p>\n The Russian military has launched a series of attacks on Ukraine\u2019s defense industrial sector, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.<\/p>\n In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that the group strike involving high-precision air-, land-, and sea-based weapons, as well as drones, targeted military-industrial facilities in Kiev Region and the Ukrainian-controlled part of Zaporozhye Region. \u201cThe goal of the strikes has been accomplished. All designated targets have been hit,\u201d<\/em> officials said.<\/p>\n Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky claimed on social media that more than 440 drones and 32 missiles targeted facilities in Odessa, Chernigov, Zhitomir, Kirovograd, and Nikolaev, killing 15 people and injuring 75. He urged \u201cthe US and Europe to\u2026 finally react the way a civilized society reacts to terrorists.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
